Karen P. Kisiel joined the firm in December 2005. Karen brings with her a strong background and practical experience in matters related to condominiums, having been actively involved in the areas of condominium law and civil litigation for the past five years.

Karen continues to provide timely advice to clients on the requirements of the Condominium Act, 1998 including governance, repair and maintenance responsibilities, insurance and reserve fund issues, and by-law and rules enactment. She has been instrumental in resolving unit owner and tenant compliance issues in a cost effective manner.

KarenŐs litigation practice focuses on representing condominium corporations in a wide range of disputes including matters relating to breach of contract and unjust enrichment claims, negligence, construction lien actions and deficiencies, wrongful dismissal, human rights and various claims against developers. Karen has effectively represented condominiums in alternative dispute resolution processes and in litigation proceedings.
