Alyssa joined Elia Associates in 2004 and brings to the firm experience in civil litigation with an emphasis on condominium law and employment law matters. Alyssa has appeared before the Superior Court (Ontario), the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal, the Ministry of Labour, the Small Claims Court (Ontario), as well as various other administrative tribunals. Alyssa has also successfully represented clients at mediation and arbitration proceedings.

Alyssa’s experience includes working at a boutique labour/litigation firm where she gained practical experience in union-side labour law, administrative law and employment law, as well as exposure to various areas of civil litigation such as long-term disability claims and to alternate dispute resolution.

Alyssa's priority remains the interest and rights of her clients. She is dedicated to achieving positive results, and believes that alternative dispute resolution options, in the appropriate context, can provide timely and cost effective solutions to firm clients.
